We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in retail to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Java, application architecture, integration, Magento, SymphonyAI Gold, SAP, Azure, and retail solutions. The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing scalable and efficient solutions tailored to the retail industry, ensuring smooth integration between systems, and guiding the development of applications. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and technical experts to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Design and architect technical solutions that meet business requirements, with a focus on retail applications, while ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Retail-Focused Architecture: Design and implement technology solutions tailored to the unique needs of the retail industry, including e-commerce platforms, customer engagement solutions, and supply chain integration.
- Integration Expertise: Lead the integration efforts between various systems (e.g., SAP, Magento, SymphonyAI Gold) and ensure seamless communication across platforms, particularly in the context of retail operations.
- Application Architecture: Define the structure and architecture of retail web and enterprise applications, ensuring they align with best practices and business goals.
- Java Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of Java programming language to develop and implement complex backend solutions, ensuring efficiency and performance.
- Magento Expertise: Architect, design, and implement Magento-based solutions, ensuring optimal performance and scalability for retail e-commerce platforms.
- SymphonyAI Gold: Utilize SymphonyAI Gold for AI-powered analytics and automation, helping to design solutions that leverage its capabilities for retail-specific needs.
- SAP Integration: Architect and integrate SAP solutions with other enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with retail business processes, including inventory, order management, and supply chain systems.
- Azure Cloud Expertise: Design and implement scalable solutions using Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Services, and Azure SQL Database, focusing on retail applications.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including development, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery in retail environments.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and provide ongoing updates.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for solution designs, integration processes, and architecture decisions tailored to retail use cases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: At least 7 years of experience in solution architecture, with a strong focus on Java, integration, application architecture, and retail solutions.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in Java and related frameworks.
- Experience with integration techniques and tools, including APIs, middleware, and cloud services.
- Deep understanding of Magento architecture, design, and customization for retail e-commerce platforms.
- Experience with SymphonyAI Gold for AI and automation solutions.
- Experience with SAP integration, especially in retail-specific modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, Retail Management).
- Expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Functions, App Services, and SQL Database, with a focus on retail solutions.
- Retail Experience: Proven experience in designing and implementing technology solutions for the retail industry, including e-commerce, POS systems, customer engagement, and supply chain integration.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve complex technical problems and design solutions that balance business needs with technological constraints.
- Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor technical teams while collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Educational Background: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master s degree preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Certifications in SAP, Magento, Azure, or relevant technologies.
