We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator who has a passion for working with application and business intelligence developers. This person should have expert-level knowledge of database structures and different schemas to support a variety of services and applications.
The Database Administrator s primary responsibility will be for the Oracle administration and support of our existing Data Warehouse environment. The candidate will need to be well-versed in the reverse and forward engineering of data structures. They will be required to write new PLSQL code as well as edit existing scripts. They will be tasked with creating scripts to automate core DBA functions and asked to perform numerous security functions.
The DBA must have experience with Oracle Database management tools such as TOAD, OEM, SQL Plus, Data Pump Import/Export, and SQL developer.
A variety of tasks are performed daily, including database administration for SQL application databases and security assignments. Some knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server management tools such as Management Studio would be a plus in consideration for this position.
Experience with meeting government regulations on security, data encryption as defined by the regulations is recommended.
Candidates that have knowledge in the use of TOAD, Erwin Model Mart, and the Informatica Source and Target management are a plus in considering the candidate for placement.
