Electrician

Role Description

This is a full-time role in Athens, AL for an Electrician at Encore Electrical Services. The Electrician will be responsible for tasks such as electrical work, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and possibly electrical engineering at residential properties.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and have good work history
• Ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year electrical experience
• Ability to perform all tasks of the electrical craft
• Ability to interpret and work from construction drawings
• valid non-restricted drivers license
• knowledge of electrical codes and regulations
• Ability to withstand exposure to constant or intermittent high noise levels
• This position is required to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments

Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for repairs & installation of electrical systems
• Repair and install lighting and power distribution systems
• Perform new construction and renovations
• Perform electrical safety practices
• Insure work is done in accordance with the National Electrical Code and in a professional manner
• Purchasing & Delivering materials to job sites
• troubleshooting, repairing and performing service calls
• conducting punch work (tying up loose ends from previous appointments)
• checking completed jobs to ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards
• supervising job sites to ensure efficient and safe operations
• Perform other duties as may be required by supervisor
