Our continued success across the Northeast has created a need for a Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team in Pawtucket, RI.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Troubleshoot and inspect both basic and complex fire alarm systems with limited or no supervision.
- Conduct regular inspections in accordance with NFPA 72 (National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code) and local regulations.
- Use our web-based platform, ServiceTrade, to document deficiencies, malfunctions, or violations related to fire alarm systems.
- Ensure alarm panels, detectors, notification devices, and emergency power systems are all operational.
- Coordinate with contractors, customers, building maintenance, and office staff to get the job done.
- Identify code and non-conformance issues and make recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.
- Show an exceptional work ethic and eye for detail in all tasks.
What You’ll Need:
- Massachusetts and/or Rhode Island Electrical License.
- A clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.
- Extensive understanding of NFPA 72, NEC, fire alarm system theory, OSHA requirements, and industry standards for fire alarm installation.
- Experience with various systems including Gamewell-FCI, Siemens, Notifier, Edwards, Simplex, Honeywell, Fire-Lite, etc.
- A customer service mindset and proficiency with technology and mobile devices.
- NICET certification preferred, but not required.
- Ability and willingness to work throughout Rhode Island and Southern Massachusetts.
