Summary
As a Fire Engineer at Furman Electric, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing fire safety systems for various projects. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with safety regulations while enhancing the overall safety of residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Design and install fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NEC standards.
- Conduct site assessments to determine fire safety requirements for residential and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate system installations.
- Collaborate with other trades to integrate fire safety systems into overall project designs.
- Provide technical support and guidance during installations and inspections.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fire safety regulations and industry standards.
- Assist in alarm system sales by providing technical expertise to clients.
- Utilize CAD software for designing fire protection layouts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of NEC regulations related to fire safety.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Experience with CAD software for system design is preferred but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with alarm system sales is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools related to electrical work is beneficial.

Pay: $30.65 - $50.00 per hour
