About the Role
We're seeking a relationship-focused Account Manager to join our commercial landscaping team! As an Account Manager, you'll be the essential bridge between our clients and operations team, ensuring exceptional service delivery through proactive communication and attentive property oversight. Your ability to nurture client relationships, conduct thorough site assessments, and collaborate across departments will be crucial in creating "raving fans" who trust and value our landscaping expertise.
What You'll Do
- Develop and nurture authentic, long-lasting, relationships with clients - Create raving fans
- Serve as main point of contact and liaison for clients and ensure on-going clear communication
- Ensure timely and satisfactory follow-up on all client inquiries, proposals, and requests
- Confirm client satisfaction regularly through verbal and in-person touchpoints
- Conduct regular on-site visits to assess maintenance quality, complete maintenance checklist; review property conditions with clients and field operations team
- Proactively communicate scheduled maintenance visits, landscaping updates, and relevant timelines to clients
- Proactively address and resolve client concerns regarding landscape maintenance
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve quality of service
- Collaborate with landscape specialists to recommend potential extra services customized to clientsโ needs, properties, and requirements
- Master communication with specialists, departmental teams, and field leaderships
- Compile and distribute detailed budgets and pricing for each client property during budget cycle, working closely with extra services specialists for inputs and time-phasing of work
- Respond to internal communications in a timely manner and utilize Slack consistently and effectively to collaborate with team members and address matters in a timely manner
- Attend ongoing training and development sessions, and continuous education opportunities
- Attend daily branch meetings and provide concise client account updates
- Ensure availability during main office business hours (7:00am-4:00pm) - branch location 2600 S. 20th Ave Phoenix, AZ 85009
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Outstanding customer service with ability to build authentic client relationships
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly responsive follow-through and attention to detail
- Team player and able to collaborate with all levels effectively
- Adaptable and ability to navigate change with a positive attitude
- Experience coordinating multiple client accounts and properties
- Motivated by client retention through consistent service quality and relationship-building
- Proficiency with office technology and CRM systems
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Business or other related fields
- Horticulture, landscape services, or related industry experience a plus but not required
