Who We're Looking For :

A creative and motivated Maintenance Manager with a strong construction background who thrives on managing teams, solving problems, and driving results in a fast-paced environment. This Maintenance Manager role offers the chance to oversee a diverse team, manage critical workflows, and ensure that large machinery, trailers, and electrical systems run smoothly.

Leaders who have managed teams and can motivate people from different backgrounds
Problem-solvers who stay calm under pressure and can prioritize urgent tasks
Detail-oriented individuals who can balance technical work with managing systems and processes.
Candidates with experience in construction maintenance or gravel pit / aggregate maintenance are especially encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do :

Lead and manage a team of skilled maintenance professionals.

Collaborate with a diverse group of individuals to foster a positive and productive work environment.

Maintain a sense of urgency in responding to maintenance issues and ensuring operational efficiency.

Oversee and improve a workflow management system that keeps everything running smoothly.

Apply your expertise in maintaining large machinery, trailers, and electrical systems in a dynamic environment.

Responsible for ensuring efficient inventory control, equipment tracking, and seamless coordination of maintenance operations, including the use of MaintainX or similar workflow management platforms.

Required Skills & Qualities :

Leadership- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of technicians and maintenance staff.

Problem-Solving Mindset- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex maintenance issues quickly.

Sense of Urgency- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond promptly to critical maintenance needs.

Attention to Detail- Ensures that all maintenance tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly.

Strong Communication Skills- Clear and effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and leadership.

Adaptability- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.

Experience

5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the precast concrete, construction, or manufacturing industries.

2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role, leading maintenance teams.

Experience working with large-scale precast concrete machinery, such as :

Forklifts (large)

Batch plants

Mixers

Overhead cranes

Concrete curing systems

Cutting and forming equipment

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent experience in a related field (preferred).

Vocational or technical training in electrical systems, mechanics, and hydraulics,are a strong asset.

Certifications in maintenance management, such as CMM (Certified Maintenance Manager) or Lean Six Sigma, are highly valued.
