As an Event Coordinator, you’ll be the key player in planning and executing a wide range of events. From initial concept to post-event wrap-up, you’ll ensure that every detail is in place to create a seamless and memorable experience. You’ll work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate logistics, manage timelines, and troubleshoot challenges as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Planning & Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and execute various types of events including conferences, seminars, corporate meetings, trade shows, product launches, and social events
- Vendor & Venue Management: Source and manage relationships with vendors (caterers, decorators, tech providers, etc.) and venues to ensure all event logistics are covered
- Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, expectations, and objectives for each event, providing regular updates and ensuring client satisfaction
- Budgeting & Cost Management: Assist in creating and managing event budgets, ensuring that all events are delivered within financial parameters
- Logistics & Operations: Oversee all logistical aspects of event execution, including scheduling, on-site management, transportation, signage, and accommodations
- Team Coordination: Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure timely delivery of event elements
- On-Site Management: Oversee the event on-site to manage operations, address any issues, and ensure smooth execution
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in event planning or coordination, preferably in [industry/type of events]
