Encore Talent Solutions has partnered with a client in search of a Cisco Network Engineer on a contract-to-hire basis.
Our client is seeking a Cisco Network Engineer to support the IT infrastructure for a major healthcare provider in Greenville, SC. This role will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading network environments across 70 doctors' offices, 2 hospitals, and 2 emergency departments within a 40-minute radius of Greenville but occasional travel to other sites is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform VLAN changes, upgrades, and lifecycle refreshes
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Catalyst 9K gear, C-Edge routers
- Replace and repair broken network equipment
- Collaborate with the IT team to support seamless network operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Cisco Network Engineer
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst 9K and C-Edge gear
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLAN management
- Ability to travel to healthcare facilities within a 40-minute radius as needed
- CCNA certification is a strong plus but not required
- No firewall or wireless experience required
Salary : $40 - $45
