Encore Talent Solutions is seeking a Jr. DotNet Engineer for an end client requirements.
The Junior Software Engineer will assist in designing and developing server programs for distribution center management systems. This role will support the development of technical solutions based on business and customer requirements and will participate in various phases of the product development lifecycle. The Junior Software Engineer will also help with resolving system issues and supporting the installation of designed equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in application development under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support the setup and configuration of servers, line controllers, and workstations.
- Help with installing systems on-site, and support testing and troubleshooting processes.
- Assist in creating and organizing server table layouts and coordination.
- Support server and system testing and maintain technical documentation.
- Assist with other project-related tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in software engineering or related field is preferred (internships or projects are a plus).
- Basic understanding of software development practices and technologies such as .NET, C#, SQL, Azure, and Blazor.
- Familiarity with full-stack development, with a focus on backend SQL development.
- Basic understanding of WMS, WCS, or WES systems is a plus but not required.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate well with others in a team environment.
- Self-motivated, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the company.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%-30%.
