Encounters With Dolphins – Clearwater Beach, FL
Encounters With Dolphins operates tour boats out of Clearwater Marina daily.
Seeking mature, detail-oriented Mate/Deck Hand with a clean cut, outgoing and likeable personality. Candidates should have a general knowledge of Clearwater and the surrounding Islands, a strong focus on customer service and safety. Prefer someone with a background, or a strong desire to learn, in conservation, wildlife management or marine biology as you will be narrating and answering questions about the area to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Crew work on excursion boat, handling lines, assisting the Captain in preparing for tours and cleaning after tours
Help passengers safely board and debark from the boat
Tour narration
Assist the Captain by maintaining a vigilant watch for other mariners
Requirements:
Self-starter
Confident and well spoken, bi-lingual is a plus but not required
Ability to stand for 8 hours
Able to lift up to 50 lbs
Dependable with reliable transportation
Preferred but not required:
Background in Marine Biology, conservation or nature.

Pay is $15 per hour plus tips. With tips, you have the ability to earn way more than $15/hour in this role!!
