Job Overview
We are looking for a Network Technician (Level 1/2) for a short-term project (3-7 days) in Chicago, IL.
Description of the work involved:
- Conduct and document on-site surveys to assess network infrastructure and installation requirements.
- Perform installations and upgrades for network devices, including routers, switches and wireless access points.
- Provide hands-on technical support for network troubleshooting, hardware replacements, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with remote teams and clients to ensure smooth project execution and issue resolution.
- Ensure proper cable management, racking, and labeling for all installed equipment.
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience in network engineering, field services, or IT support.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must have basic networking toolkit
- Willingness to travel extensively for on-site assignment.
