Encyclopædia Britannica is searching for a talented Motion Graphics Artist and Video Editor to join our editorial video team of animators, editors, and scriptwriters. This role will specialize in two specific verticals : Britannica Money and Britannica’s social media platforms. Collaboration with those verticals’ stakeholders will be a key element in the role’s success.
The ideal candidate enjoys taking projects from start to finish, finding excitement in each step of the video production process with the ability to explain difficult concepts in an engaging way. While motion graphics editing is their priority, they’re comfortable and interested in cutting together footage from a live shoot. This candidate should have prior experience working on social content or deep understanding of the latest social trends. They understand that while editing can be a solitary practice, collaboration is key to their success. We are in search of an artistic visualizer, a master of timing, and a passion for educational content.
