Job Summary:

The General Manager leads the day-to-day management and operational excellence of our three End of the Trial Stores (EOT) fueling center/C-store locations and is strategic and results driven. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role will focus on streamlining operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience. The Director will oversee and directly manage a team of Store Managers, driving their performance and accountability.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Oversee daily operations including fueling, food service, and C-store operations across all EOT locations, ensuring processes align with company standards and operational excellence.
  • Lead and develop a team of Store Managers, providing clear direction, support, and accountability to drive results.
  • Implement operational strategies to optimize costs, streamline workflows, and enhance efficiency in collaboration with the Business Management Team (Executive Team) at Chehalis Tribal Enterprises.
  • Provide daily operating reports/scorecards and monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing action plans.
  • Collaborate with supply chain vendors to maintain consistent, high-quality product availability across all locations.
  • Oversee tools for inventory tracking and reporting, ensuring seamless integration into operational workflows.
  • Oversee repair and maintenance needs to ensure timely and efficient issue resolution.

Team Development

  • Mentor, develop and coach Store Managers, Head Cashiers, Inventory Control Clerks, and the Person in Charge (POCs), enabling them to effectively lead their teams and meet performance goals.
  • Develop and implement staffing strategies to build an elite team of retail professionals who prioritize quality service, customer experience, and consistent execution, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities for individuals throughout the three locations.
  • Ensure effective engagement with fellow leadership and consistent flow of information in both directions, reinforcing a culture of collaboration, trust, and open communication.
  • Create a positive and fun work culture and promote teamwork every day to drive performance.

Customer Experience

  • Maintain high standards for product quality, hospitality, and in-store operations to ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Store Managers to address operational challenges, implement solutions, and reinforce brand values across all locations.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, both internally and externally, embodying our core values, inspiring celebration, and creating real magic.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Implement strategies to achieve sales goals and drive revenue growth. Monitor and analyze sales data, identify trends, and take proactive measures to optimize performance.
  • Managing the budget and ensuring that each store operates withing budget.
  • Partner with the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for retail operations.

POS & Delivery Platform Oversight

  • Oversee the functionality and performance of point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with third-party delivery platforms, ensuring smooth integration, operational excellence, and strong financial performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and vendor coordination for POS and delivery platforms.

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational standards across all locations. Maintain compliance with the Chehalis Tribal Ordinances, including tribal member employment preference and the Food Code at all EOT locations.
  • Assist in regular audits to maintain consistency and identify areas for improvement.

Other duties:

  • Conduct annual performance evaluations of EOT employees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervision:

A. Supervision Received: Independently performs day-to-day activities. Receives supervision as necessary from Chief Operating Officer.

B. Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee managers and associates of all EOT Stores.

Minimum Qualifications:

A. Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.

A. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience required in-store management, preferably in a convenience store environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $95,000.00 per year
