The Investor Relations Associate who will play an active role in supporting the Investor Relations Team. This role requires a smart, organized individual with a strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and willingness to learn. There will be a client facing component to this role once the Associate has proven their ability to take ownership of the following responsibilities. This role will report to the Vice President of Investor Relations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage CRM and Investor Portal, including client onboarding and account management
- Create and collaborate with accounting and investment teams to distribute capital account statements, capital calls, distribution notices, tax documents, quarterly reports and annual disclosures
- Assist with the content preparation and vision execution of marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations
- Complete Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) for existing investors and update and maintain marketing materials, including PowerPoint presentations and other documents
- Work with internal and external compliance teams to ensure investor communication is compliant
- Assist in event coordination including event planning and management, initial outreach, follow-up, coordinating schedules
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in investor relations. Commercial real estate experience required.
- Juniper Square experience a plus
- Holds current FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses and/or willing to obtain within 120 days of employment
- Ability to work well under pressure and respond to shifting priorities
- Excellent judgment and the ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion
- Self-motivated, creative problem solver, with great time management skills
- Ability to work in Irvine, CA office 5 days a week
