Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Investor Relations Associate at Leonid Capital Partners in Huntington Beach, CA.
Reporting to and working directly with the Chief Financial Officer interfacing directly with the two Co-Founders, this role is responsible for managing relationships with managing investor relationships, analyzing investment opportunities, communicating investment strategies, and supporting private credit initiatives on a daily basis
The role requires a dynamic individual with 3-5 years of experience in investor relations within the alternative investment management industry, with a focus on private credit, private equity, venture and/or hedge funds,
Responsibilities Include:
- Investor Communication: Act as the main point of contact for current and prospective investors in conjunction with Fund Administration investor relations support, responding to inquiries and providing regular updates on fund performance and strategic direction.
- Reporting & Presentations: Prepare quarterly and annual investor reports, presentations, and performance updates, using Fund Administration provided data. Manage investor communication materials, including newsletters, reports, and fact sheets.
- Fundraising Support: Assist in raising new capital by identifying potential investors, managing outreach, and supporting roadshows, meetings, and other fundraising efforts.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure investor materials are compliant with regulatory standards and company guidelines. Maintain accurate records and databases of all investor contacts, interactions, and documents.
- Market Intelligence: Track market trends, investor sentiment, and industry news to provide valuable insights to the investment and management teams.
- CRM Management: Oversee and maintain investor data in CRM systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for all investor communications and reporting.
- Events & Conferences: Represent the firm at industry conferences, investor meetings, and other relevant events, effectively communicating the firm’s value proposition and strategic vision.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in investor relations, preferably within the alternative investment management industry (private credit, private equity, venture and/or hedge funds).
- Investor Relations, Communication, and Analytical Skills
- Experience in Investments and Private Equity
- Strong understanding of financial markets, alternative investments, and fund structures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex investment strategies to investors.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with CRM systems and investor management software.
- Proficiency in creating investor materials (presentations, reports, fact sheets).
- Experience working with institutional investors, family offices, or high-net-worth individuals.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Relevant certifications such as CFA or CAIA are a plus
- Familiarity with the direct lending, SBIC programs, U.S. Government contracting, or national security sectors is a plus

Salary : $75,000 - $100,000
