We’re seeking a Test Engineer to support our U.S. Government program(s). The Test Engineer will be responsible for providing world-wide, enterprise-scaled corporate data transport and messaging services that are highly available, reliable, and fault tolerant and critical to National Security. We are looking to add a Systems Test Engineer to our Low Latency Messaging Services Team. This team is responsible for developing, deploying, and supporting a subscription based messaging capability, enabling mission applications to communicate in near-real time.

• Testing web-based GUIs, Enterprise Java Applications, or Messaging Systems.
• Evaluating web-based GUIs for Section 508 compliance.
• Working with REST and testing REST-based web services.
• Understanding of relational databases and experience with SQL queries and validating results.
• Using scripting languages to automate testing on a Linux platform.
Desired Skills:
• Proficiency in scripting and working in a Linux OS
• Proven experience as a Software/Systems Test Engineer or similar role
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

• Education: A Bachelors Degree is desired. An additional four years of experience can be substitute the degree.
• Experience:
  • Five years of experience as a Test Engineer
• Other:
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with appropriate Polygraph (Poly).
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must be an excellent communicator – verbal & written.
  • Must be able to work with team members and by individually.
  • Must be able to connect with individuals of varying backgrounds.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 – 140,000.00  USD / year

Salary Description: The pay range for this job, with multi-levels, is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
