Data Lineage/Metadata Analyst
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 24 months
They are looking to have someone come in on their metadata team to help with the backend of their group to dig in. Research to help understand the technical side and facilitate write ups. They will be doing a lot of communication in this role and doing "professional story telling"
Must Haves:
5 years' experience with metadata management tools like Collibra, familiarity with data lineage tracking tools with strong SQL skills
Understanding of relational databases (schema, tables, columns, data glossary), Data warehousing concepts, Data modeling techniques
Scripting or programming knowledge
DBA Experience
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Business acumen and PM mindset (effective listening, ability to bridge business and technical needs)
Plusses:
Financial/banking experience
