Role SummaryThis is more than a “People” role—it’s a culture architect position at the heart of strategic change. As our Head of People & Culture, you’ll guide our evolving organization through a pivotal transition, helping to align newly established specialist teams under shared values, redefine how we work together, and cultivate a learning-first, feedback-forward culture.
You’re hands-on and entrepreneurial—able to coach leaders, navigate change, and strengthen what’s already in motion. You’ll shape culture, support alignment, and ensure our people practices scale with our dual-strategy growth across the Games-Making Community and Device Access programs. This isn’t a corporate HR role—it’s a high-impact, roll-up-your-sleeves opportunity to lead from the inside.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead the development and execution of a people strategy that strengthens alignment, trust, and unity across teams.
- Design and implement frameworks for shared values, behaviors, and decision-making that reflect our redefined mission and program goals.
- Facilitate a values assessment and embed outcomes into hiring, onboarding, performance, and recognition practices.
- Coach leaders through change and act as a trusted advisor on culture, collaboration, and team health.
- Translate EOSF’s strategic pivot into aligned ways of working and clear, team-level goals.
- Drive leadership and management development across levels to build long-term capacity.
- Foster a feedback-rich environment that supports continuous learning and psychological safety.
- Identify and address capability gaps to support our evolving structure and program growth.
- Oversee day-to-day People operations led by the People & Ops Manager, ensuring smooth coordination and best practices.
- Develop and execute a wellness strategy that promotes mental health, balance, and team resilience.
- Improve and monitor eNPS and respond proactively to trends or pain points in the employee experience.
- Senior-level experience in People & Culture, Organizational Development, or HR—ideally in a creative, remote, or mission-led organization.
- A proven track record of aligning culture with strategy and leading teams through periods of change and growth.
- Deep experience in coaching, learning and development, and embedding values into people systems.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and designing people practices that are human-centered and results-driven.
- A mindset grounded in equity, collaboration, and curiosity.
- The chance to build something innovative and mission-driven at the intersection of games, education, and community.
- A leadership role with hands-on execution, where your decisions have a direct impact.
- A fully remote, flexible work environment with passionate collaborators.
- A culture of experimentation and rapid iteration—we move fast and learn as we go.
- A global perspective, as our team and projects are scattered around the world
- Healthcare plan (US)/Private medical insurance (UK), generous PTO policy.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds who share our passion for games and education.
