Job Description

This internship opportunity will perform assigned activities/tasks related to Culture of Excellence projects and process improvements of existing quality systems with the goal of facilitating and expediting completion of these site projects.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate. Proof of academic enrollment must accompany application.
• Actively enrolled in a relevant field of study, STEM / life sciences preferred
  
  

Knowledge

• Knowledge of MS suite of products
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in PC programs, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of GMPs preferred.
  
  

Skills & Abilities

• Requires a student with strong communication skills, the ability to think strategically, and demonstrate leadership potential.
• Ability to accurately scan documents to electronic format
• Ability to accurately perform data entry from paper records
• Ability to perform word processing (prepares existing SOPs, protocols, reports, and other documents)
• Ability to follow written instructions and document completed tasks
• Ability to consider data and information available and apply critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with basic statistics and data trending (collects and analyzes data)
• Familiarity with basic process mapping or flow charts
• Willingness to propose new or innovative ideas for process improvements
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
