We are looking for an Application Expert to join our group to support the global marketing and sales strategies for Ultrasonic Flow as well as directly support the regional sales teams in execution of sales and customer-related activities.

What is the role about?

The Application Expert for Ultrasonic will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and market presence of our Ultrasonic flow measurement products. This role will help to identify and capitalize on business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and drive sales growth. We’re looking for a dynamic individual who can build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, provide technical support and training and collaborate as part of a team.

Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

• Be responsible for driving the growth of Ultrasonic flow product sales within the US
• Support our sales representatives directly with technical and application support for Ultrasonic flow
• Work alongside sales and service teams to deliver on-site customer support, such as product demonstrations, installation support, and troubleshooting
• Plan and support training opportunities within the sales center and partner network
• Define focus applications together with regional marketing, sales and global product management
• Support and follow-up of customer activities, initiatives, and trial measurements in collaboration with the sales centers
• Support the execution of product launches
• Provide market feedback to product & industry management
Balance team and individual responsibilities & contribute to building a positive team spirit

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferably engineering or technical) and 5-10 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of instrumentation, process automation and measurement applications
• Knowledge of Ultrasonic Flow technology
• Works autonomously, taking initiative, and makes decisions
• Experienced in strategic planning and implementing sales growth strategies
• Customer and sales growth oriented
Ability to leverage technical expertise to connect with industry peers and customers
