Job Requirements

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as relevant experience in the field of mechanical repair and maintenance. Key requirements include:

• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools and torque wrenches
• Able to read and comprehend basic drawings and scope of work
• Basic math skills, addition, and subtraction
• Lifting up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis
• Reading and comprehending the requirements of the VLS Quality Assurance Manual and Procedure, as well as customer and regulatory requirements
• Prior experience with valve repair and maintenance, bubble leak tests, bench testing valves, valve removal or reassembly, and working with orders and inventory logs and calibration logs
• High attention to detail and processes
• Able to work Monday through Friday 6:45am-5:30pm with overtime including Saturdays
• Able to stand for long periods with limited breaks
• Work in extreme temperatures and elements for an extended period
• Able to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights (15 feet off the ground)
• Able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check
