We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Citrix System Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our Citrix environment for secure, high-performance virtual desktops and application delivery. You’ll play a critical role in optimizing the end-user experience across the organization, ensuring reliability, scalability, and seamless remote access.

Description
We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Citrix System Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain our Citrix environment for secure, high-performance virtual desktops and application delivery. You’ll play a critical role in optimizing the end-user experience across the organization, ensuring reliability, scalability, and seamless remote access.

What You’ll Do
- Architect and implement Citrix solutions: CVAD, Citrix ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront, and Director
- Manage application delivery and secure remote access through Citrix Gateway
- Set up machine provisioning (MCS/PVS), VDAs, and high-availability/disaster recovery strategies
- Monitor and troubleshoot session health, logon performance, profile management, and resource usage
- Integrate Citrix with Microsoft AD, DNS/DHCP, FSLogix, and MFA solutions like Duo or Okta
- Collaborate with networking teams for firewall, load balancing, and SSL configurations
- Maintain system security, compliance, and performance through proactive patching and upgrades
- Create thorough documentation for architecture, SOPs, and recovery processes
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of hands-on experience managing Citrix environments
- Deep expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, ADC (NetScaler), StoreFront, and Workspace
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and Windows Server
- Citrix certifications (CCA-V, CCP-V, or higher) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V
- Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, and general networking principles
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
