We are looking for a Multimedia Designer to join our dynamic team and play a critical role in advancing our mission of directly impacting underserved communities with pressing environmental and climate justice issues.
This hybrid position is based in McLean, VA and requires three days per week in the office. Candidates with federal government and environmental experience are highly encouraged to apply.
About the Role :
As a Multimedia Designer at EnDyna, you will use your skills to help disadvantaged communities overcome environmental injustices, reduce pollution, and build climate resilience for future generations. Your work will directly contribute to advancing social equity and sustainability through visual mediums.
Responsibilities :
The Multimedia Designer has a variety of responsibilities that revolve around creating visual content to communicate messages effectively and include :
Conceptualizing Visuals : Understanding project requirements and developing visual concepts.Creating Designs : Producing illustrations, logos, fact sheets and reports, and other designs using both Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.Collaborating with Team Members : Working with writers, project managers, communication strategists and other team members to produce final designs and meet community or client needs.Testing Graphics : Ensuring that graphics are visually appealing and effective across various media, including newsletters, websites, social media posts, fact sheets, and more.Amending Designs : Making revisions based on feedback to improve the final output.Maintaining Brand Consistency : Creating guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed and used.Managing Projects : Scheduling projects, defining budget constraints, and ensuring timely completion.Staying Updated : Keeping up with industry trends and tools to ensure designs are current and innovative.Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree or 8 years of experience in graphic design or a related field.Design Software Proficiency : Expertise in tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software, such as Canva.Professional Certifications : Certifications in graphic design or Adobe software.Skills

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 annually and will be commensurate with qualifications, experience and geography. EnDyna offers medical, dental and vision insurance for the employee and his / her family, a 401K retirement plan with employer match, short-term and long-term disability coverage and life insurance.
