Responsibilities
From managing cutting-edge infrastructure to meticulous documentation and reporting, this role offers a diverse range of exciting responsibilities.
Infrastructure Management:
- Deploy and maintain Fortinet firewalls, switches, APs, and other security appliances
- Monitor network performance, security, and availability
- Conduct regular security reviews and assessments
- Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
- Implement network policies and access controls
- Ensure seamless connectivity and high availability
- Perform network upgrades and patches
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate network documentation
- Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements
- Provide recommendations for enhancing network efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2 years experience in firewall management, Fortinet environment preferred but not required
- Fortinet Certification (FCP/FCSS/NSE 4 or higher) is preferred
- Experience with a broad range of Fortinet technologies including EMS, Forti Manager and SD-WAN. ZTNA experience a plus
- Experience with cloud networking
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and security
- Strong understanding of DNS (Domain Name Services)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
