Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement project schedules, management plans, and staff management to ensure project requirements are met.
- Scheduling Tool Expertise: Understand and utilize earned value management and reporting processes for optimal project performance.
- Reporting and Financial Management: Formulate detailed project reports and provide regular financial updates to management on project status and performance.
- Client Relations: Foster strong working relations with assigned clients, serving as a single point of contact for assigned projects.
- Negotiation and Marketing: Aggressively support marketing efforts, including identifying new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- Nuclear Design Engineering Experience: Proven experience in nuclear industry modifications and implementation process, calculations, specifications, etc.
- Industry Expertise: Minimum 7 years' experience in nuclear industry as Engineer or Project Manager.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience.
- Contract Review and Budgeting: Experienced in contract and non-disclosure agreement language development and review, as well as ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes.
- Team Building and Communication: Strong coordination, team-building, organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills.
- Technical Skills: Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites.
- Travel Requirements: Ability to travel between 10-15% of time, with occasional client site assignments lasting several months.
