Your Impact on the Business: As a Level 3 Critical Facilities Technician, you will take a lead role in the day-to-day operations of a data center, focusing on maintaining and improving critical and non-critical infrastructure, equipment, and systems. You'll leverage your advanced expertise to ensure 100% uptime, support complex troubleshooting, and mentor junior technicians. What You Will Be Doing:
- Operate, maintain, and optimize critical and non-critical data center infrastructure.
- Lead the CFT team in monitoring power, cooling, and environmental conditions in data halls.
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to oversee and manage maintenance tasks.
- Perform and supervise advanced preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues and respond to emergencies with precision.
- Develop, review, and improve procedures and maintenance inspections.
- Escort and oversee contractors, ensuring compliance with facility rules and standards.
- Conduct detailed facility rounds and provide support for operations, construction, and commissioning activities.
The Necessities:
- High school diploma required; vocational, technical school training, or military background preferred.
- 5 years of experience in mission-critical environments.
- Electrical or mechanical license or certification strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to complete advanced training programs and certifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and documentation.
