Senior Director of Construction – Data Center Infrastructure
Location: NVA (Northern Virginia)
Travel: Up to 50%
Our client are a leading innovator in the data center space, delivering scalable, energy-efficient infrastructure solutions for hyperscalers and enterprise clients. As they expand rapidly across North America, they're looking for a Senior Director of Construction to lead large-scale, mission-critical developments across multiple sites and regions.
What You’ll Do
- Lead multi-site construction delivery from preconstruction through turnover, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Oversee large capital budgets and ensure cost, schedule, and quality control across all phases.
- Build and manage high-performing internal teams and external partners (GCs, engineers, vendors, AHJs).
- Drive operational excellence through lean methodologies, contract negotiation, and innovative project delivery models.
- Act as executive stakeholder, interfacing with leadership, customers, and cross-functional groups to ensure seamless execution.
What You Bring
- 10 years in construction, with deep experience in data center or mission-critical projects.
- Proven leadership in multi-site program management and complex stakeholder environments.
- Expertise in delivery models (Design-Build, GMP, etc.), project controls, and contract strategy.
- Strong communicator, influencer, and team builder.
- Passion for innovation, sustainability, and scaling infrastructure that powers the digital future.
