Midland client seeking :
Dispatcher – Schedule and dispatch drivers at appropriate locations according to the customer’s requests, specifications, or needs. This requires High volume of communication between the customers, yards, drivers, and rigs.
- Answer dispatch phone & emails at all times.
- Must have some knowledge of ELD’s and DOT FMCSA regulations.
- Respond immediately to orders as soon as they come through.
- Print orders, updating board, updating spreadsheet right away.
- Schedule Loading / Unloading appointments as soon as you get the order.
- Make sure you know where your drivers are at all times.
- Line up all trucks & forklift as soon as possible.
- Collect paperwork from all drivers and send delivery information to customer.
- Update daily spreadsheet.
- Other office duties and reports as needed.
