Description : JOB PURPOSE :
As part of the Energy 1 team, the Plumbing Foreman will help install plumbing for high-end custom residential and commercial clients. At Energy 1, our passion is to Demand Better. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
This position will report to the Plumbing Department Manager and will serve as a critical member of the construction team. The Plumbing Foreman will be required to meet all current Federal and State requirements of a licensed plumber where applicable. Specific job duties :
- Operate as the point of contact for general contractors, subs, and clients.
- Maintain regular communication with General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Clients.
- Regularly visit sites to maintain working relationships with site superintendents.
- Read and work from blueprints, technical manuals, charts, and schematics.
- Work closely with purchasing manager to procure materials.
- Efficiently communicate new project needs with field / admin / accounting.
- Engage in project forecasting and the creation of schedules.
- Perform all plumbing work in accordance with code and company standards.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to : communicate with others both physically present and on the telephone; sit and stand; move, use hands to operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects over 50 pounds.
