About Energy Coordinating Agency:
The Energy Coordinating Agency (ECA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to helping people conserve energy and promoting a sustainable, socially equitable energy future for everyone. Since 1984, ECA has been at the forefront of designing and implementing high-quality energy conservation, education, and home repair initiatives aimed at reducing energy burdens and stabilizing low-income families in their homes and communities. Our Community Programs department operates 16 Neighborhood Energy Centers (NECs) in Philadelphia, serving as one-stop shops for community energy education. The NECs provide energy counseling, budget counseling, and utility bill payment assistance to 6,000 families each year and conduct do-it-yourself weatherization workshops for approximately 2,000 families annually.
Position Summary:
The Program Administrator Assistant supports the administrative and operational functions of the program by assisting with coordination, documentation, and communication efforts. This role is essential for ensuring operational efficiency, compliance with policies, and the smooth execution of day-to-day activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. conduct do-it-yourself weatherization workshops for approximately 2,000 families annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Program Administrator in managing daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate and compliant program reports and documentation.
- Coordinate meetings by scheduling and preparing agendas, while facilitating communication between neighborhood energy centers and the Program Administrator.
- Support in training the sales force on deadlines, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to assist with program administration.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Work Environment:
This is a remote position with occasional travel required for meetings or events.
Flexibility in working hours may be necessary based on program needs.
