We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or construction, with a minimum of 3 years in project management, production scheduling, or a related leadership role. Attention to detail is a must, as well as the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively. Experience with heat exchangers or pressure vessels is highly desirable. Must be able to pass a drug screening test with no issues, as this is a safety sensitive position. This is an in-person position.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with internal project staff, customers and their representatives to determine project scope and objectives.
- Prepare for and host customer kick off, pre-fabrication and project meetings.
- Forecast and manage production schedule, including monitoring milestones and deliverables.
- Provide regular project status updates to customers and internal teams, expediting any needs to maintain project momentum.
- Addressing delays, changes and adds with customers and project team.
- Identify and resolve challenges proactively to ensure on-time shipments and milestone completion, including contract closeout requirements.
- Support Company’s reputation as a quality manufacturer with transparent and easy to work with management.
- Safely traverse the plant yard & warehouse.
- Manage any warranty communication.
- Report to executive management and ensure company priorities are being achieved.
Qualifications & Experience
Understanding of fabrication processes in a heat exchanger or pressure vessel shop environment.Knowledge of ASME materials, welding, milling, drilling, and NDE (Non-Destructive Examination)—including how these processes impact scheduling and project timelines.Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and project specifications.Experience coordinating production workflows to align with project deadlines.Familiarity with material lead times, fabrication sequencing, and common bottlenecks in manufacturing.Experience with Windows PC Computers, PDF software, Gantt Charts, and Microsoft Office suite.Key Skills :
