Industrial Electrician 65%
- Troubleshoots, tests, repairs, or modifies complex electrical systems; Programmable Logic Controllers, Roasting equipment controls, Motor Controls for ingredient feeders, and other line equipment. Installs and maintains conventional lighting systems.
- Maintains Electrical Power Control System and other building electrical systems. Included but not limited to, Relay controls, programmable control systems for medium voltage transformers and motor control centers.
- Performs all residential electrical requirements including layout & routing design following N.E.C. Standards.
- Completes installation of rigid PVC or EMT Conduit systems.
- Maintain and layouts piping systems for pneumatic equipment and air compressor systems. Cuts, threads pipe, and makes proper connections; installs, repairs, and replaces valves and controls. Also, able to install and maintain soldered copper piping systems.
- Performs troubleshooting and repair of production equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of the methods and skills in the use of equipment. Understands materials and tools appropriate for plumbing/pipefitting and related installation, maintenance, and repair activities. Knowledge of common hazards and necessary safety precautions. Knowledge of local, state, and codes. Ability to read and interpret instructions, diagrams, sketches, blueprints, and manufacturers' manuals. Capability to estimate time and material needs, determines when repair is not economically practical, and performs routine tasks and arithmetic computations.
- Maintains personal tools & personal protective equipment for company use.
- Electronically fills out all work orders to track all maintenance including parts and labor.
- Works overtime and weekends as required.
- Perform housekeeping and other duties required.
- Maintain a safe work environment and enforce all safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of product, equipment, tools, supplies, and inventory points.
- Follows all OSHA safety rules, GMP's and all food safety laws and regulations.

Skills/Competencies
- Knowledge of the metric system, as well as AC/DC control circuits. Ability to read electrical schematics Very good basic math skills and experience with computer hardware.
- Fork lift operator certification
- GMP & Food safety; Understanding and awareness
- HACCP - Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Certificate
- Tool maker skills a plus.
- Ability to run a lathe and mill. Welding skills.
- Ability to use Microsoft Suite and learn applicable CMMS Suite
- Electrical Training or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of two years of relative work experience in production/manufacturing setting

- Mathematical Skills -Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Hearing and speaking to express ideas and/or exchange information in person or over the telephone
- Vision - Seeing to read labels, posters, documents, PC screens, etc.
- For plant/production positions, may involve standing for frequent and long periods of time - UP TO 4 HOURS.
- Sitting, standing, moving about or walking for occasional or frequent periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate production machinery and equipment/maintenance of productivity equipment and/or a computer keyboard and other office equipment
- Kneeling, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching overhead
- Retrieving and storing files and supplies; occasionally carrying and/or lifting objects with a weight
