- Reviews Oasis in a timely manner and recommends any necessary changes to the assessing RN
- Reviews Plan of care to be sent to the physician.
- Coordinates with the Director of Clinical Serivces regarding any complaints and staffing issues.
- Experienced with patient relations
- Works closely with the Account Executives
- Follows HIPPA guidelines as required by regulatory agencies.
- Reviews of Clinical documentation for proper medical necessity, home health, and treatment rendered.
- Educates field staff as required to keep documentation up to professional standards.
- Collaborates and encourages teamwork and relationship building.
Requirements
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse in a Home Health Agency.
- 1 year of case management experience.
- Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively.
- Demonstrates proven decision-making skills.
- Must read, write and comprehend English.
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
- Current driver’s license in good standing. It is the responsibility of the employee to renew their driver’s license before it expires in order to continue employment.
- Current State professional license as an RN in any/all applicable states.
- Current CPR
- Performs duties in an office environment during Agency operating hours.
- Ability to work flexible schedule.
- Ability to travel locally.
- Some exposure to unpleasant weather.
- If required to make patient visits, may work in patients' home in various conditions, possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids and infectious diseases.
