Job Summary:
As a Solar Installer at Energy Select, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of solar energy systems. You will work as part of a dynamic team to ensure the successful deployment of solar panels, inverters, and associated components. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to grow/start a career in the renewable energy field.
Responsibilities:
Solar Panel Installation: Install solar panels, racking , and other associated equipment on residential and commercial properties, following company guidelines and safety protocols.
Assist with job site before installation including carrying panels, racking, and other materials onto the roof, or job site
Assist with job clean up ensuring that all trash and extra material is cleared from the job site
Quality Control: Perform quality checks to ensure that all components are securely installed, and systems are functioning optimally.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team members.
Documentation: Complete all necessary documentation, including installation reports and work orders, accurately and in a timely manner.
Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and address any questions or concerns they may have regarding the installation process.
Qualifications:
Ability to work on heights and on rooftops is a MUST please honestly consider if you would be willing to work on roofs
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training is a plus.
We are willing to train motivated individuals
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation: We mainly work in St. Mary's and Calvert County but jobs can be in PG, Charles, and Anne Arundel County.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
