ENERGYbits Inc. (www.energybits.com) is a small but rapidly growing prestige plant-based nutrition company (we sell algae tablets).   Our tablets are sold to health conscious consumers through our website and nationally at wellness clinics, spas and prestige retail. Our algae provides wellness, longevity and nutrition benefits without chemicals, caffeine or sugar, just 100% concentrated nutrition.  Our customers are affluent health-conscious consumers who visit our website, spas, wellness practitioners, biohacking clinics and prestige retailers.  


THE  OPPPORTUNITY

We are hiring a Trade Show Manager/Office Manager to join our dynamic team in our ENERGYbits Coconut Grove/Miami Office.  Our company and our algae is making a difference in the world, gaining national attention and growing exponentially. A)  Trade Show Manager

You will be responsible for organizing and managing our 10 national trade shows (and any other events) from start to finish. This includes overseeing all event planning, shipping, logistics, booth management, sales team support, setting up our booth/table, working at each show to hand out samples and explain our products, oversee pre-and post-show emails and organize all sales-leads for the sales team. This role requires you to be able to think on your feet, take charge and be able to solve problems on the fly. It also requires extensive travel, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and multitasking skills. You will also need to learn the nutritional and wellness benefits of our algae so you can communicate them to the visitors at our trade show booth. This position requires an independent thinker who has strong leadership to run these shows but you also need team skills so you can effectively collaborate with our other key team members including Operations, Creative and Sale.  The success of our events is always a team effort, but it is the Trade Show Manager who puts all the details together.


B)  Office Manager

 

You will be responsible for managing all our office activities including those that support our sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, operations and customer care.  This includes shipping samples to VIPs, media, podcasts and wholesale partners; ordering and organizing literature and supplies for the office and trade shows; supporting our customer care team with customer returns, managing vendors like FedEx and UPS; uploading trade sales leads to our CRM and providing support to our Coconut Grove executive team, especially the CEO whose calendar and travel you will manage.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree in business or marketing
  • At least 5 years experience in trade show planning and management.
  • At least 5 years experience in marketing support/office management
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, be a leader and have a take charge attitude
  • Ability to learn the nutritional/wellness benefits of algae tablets to explain them at shows
  • Ability to travel extensively and on weekends (most events are on weekends).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up type of work environment
  • Able to work in our Coconut Grove Office 5 days week (Monday – Friday)
  • Ability to lift boxes for FedEx (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long hours at trade shows.

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Candidates who live in/near Coconut Grove or southern Miami are preferred

·        Experience with CRM, project management, Windows, and other software/systems

·        Professional experience working at a wellness or nutrition company a bonus

·        Personal interest in wellness a bonus
