EnergyUnited is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager of Infrastructure & Cybersecurity to lead our IT infrastructure and security operations. This leadership role is vital to ensuring the integrity, reliability, and protection of our systems, networks, and data. What You’ll Do:
- Oversee IT infrastructure and cybersecurity operations to ensure system security, availability, and performance.
- Manage team workloads, prioritize tasks, and keep projects on track for smooth operations.
- Translate fiber, infrastructure, and telecom needs into budgeted project plans aligned with IT leadership.
- Collaborate with the VP of IT and leadership to maintain reliable infrastructure and support systems.
- Assign and delegate tasks effectively to optimize team efficiency and engagement.
- Manage vendor relationships and make informed hardware purchasing decisions.
- Oversee contract management within assigned budgets, ensuring compliance with internal processes
- Lead infrastructure, hardware, and security-related projects from planning through execution.
- Direct the development and implementation of network and telecom systems.
- Define project timelines and track progress aligned with strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks including PCI, CIS Top 18, and NRECA Top 20 Goals.
- Support team efforts to maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing systems and fiber networks.
- Manage IT budgets in coordination with IT leadership, aligning with departmental goals.
- Monitor trends, patches, and updates to ensure system health and compliance.
- Promote end-user computing through tools, training, hardware, and support.
- Ensure our team is owning responsibilities and supported to deliver IT services under your responsibility with the outcomes we expect while hitting desired metrics, SLA's, and KPI's."

What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of IT experience, including enterprise network and infrastructure management.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver strong business outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Firewalls, routers/switches, LAN/WAN, virtual and physical servers
- Microsoft server/client environments, Active Directory, MS SQL
- Security tools and best practices
- Desired certifications: Microsoft, CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, PMP
- On-site availability for system upgrades and emergencies.
- Valid NC driver’s license with clean driving record.

- Hybrid role: Work is performed both remotely and on-site at EnergyUnited locations.
