Overview
We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager to join our team. This position will directly report to the AVP Infrastructure Architecture Eng and Ops and is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling IT Infrastructure projects efficiently. This role involves managing projects related to network systems, cloud migration, data center operations, and enterprise infrastructure upgrades. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external vendors.
- Develop and deliver a project management artifact encompassing all the details of the project to the team members.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the team members about every aspect of the project to ensure team members can understand their tasks fully and act on them efficiently.
- Identify potential risk and develop mitigation strategies
- Allocate resources effectively, ensuring teams have the necessary tools and support
- Communicate with other members to effectively communicate status, issues, and risks of projects.
About You
- Proven experience with Hybrid Cloud in a large Enterprise is required.
- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 to 7 years in progressively more responsible project management roles in IT Infrastructure are preferred.
- Experience with project management tools (JIRA, MS Project, Trello)
- Information Technology support in a 2000 user environment is required
- Certifications such as PMP, Green Belt, or Scrum Master are a plus, but not required
