CAMP COUNSELOR – TONS-O-FUN SUMMER CAMP
Summer Camp Seasonal Positions – Enfield Recreation
The Town of Enfield, Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the following position:
Tons-O-Fun Summer Camp:
- Open position: Camp Counselor
- Program dates: Monday – Friday, June 23, 2025 – August 8, 2025 (no 7/4/2025)
- Hours of work: 35-40 per week (hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:15 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
- Training: All employees are required to complete mandatory training before the season begins. Training will be held in June, dates TBD.
- Rates of pay: $16.50 - $17.50 hour, dependent on experience.
Camp Counselor: Responsible for coordinating, facilitating and supervising a wide variety of camp activities for an assigned group of children at the full day summer camp. Works under the general direction of the Head Camp Counselor and Camp Director.
Responsible for assisting the Head Camp Counselor and Camp Director with scheduling weekly activities; chaperoning weekly trips; completing daily paperwork; reviewing present programs and making recommendations for future programs; other duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements: 16 years old. Experience working with children preferred. Must successfully complete Town of Enfield sponsored First Aid, CPR, and Epi-Pen certification programs.
