Engage Contracting is looking for an Senior Estimator to join our team!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing current and predicted market conditions to formulate a detailed estimation for all assigned projects. Responsibilities
- Complete assigned estimating projects accurately and on time
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications for accuracy to use during the bidding process
- Complete and assemble pricing for proposals or bids
- Complete and assemble the proper bid forms for proposal submission
- Use sound estimating judgment in making decisions by frequently referring to comparable historical data on related projects, with cost escalations added as required
- Preform value engineering during and after the bid process
- Make sure that the subcontractors are prequalified before the bid process takes place
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent 5 years of experience
- Commercial General Contractor experience preferred
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
