The VISTA member will focus on supporting the sector by connecting Wabash College's people, programs, and places with the community's nonprofit ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create College network mapping and activation
- Provide volunteer coordination between campus partners
- Promote opportunities for community programming
- Develop engagement while streamlining mini-grant processes
- Develop resources for a nonprofit learning series and other professional development curriculum in partnership with the Montgomery County Community Foundation
- Use collected data to inform best practices

Founded in 1832, Wabash is a liberal arts college whose mission is to educate men to think critically, act responsibly, lead effectively, and live humanely. The College is located near downtown Crawfordsville, an Indiana Stellar Communities city of approximately 16,000.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Experience: Foundation relations, volunteer management, or nonprofit sector administration (preferred)

VISTA Terms and Benefits
- Full-time (40 hours/week), one-year commitment
- Monthly living allowance of $1,755.32
- Segal AmeriCorps Education Award ($6,895) or end-of-service cash stipend ($1,800) upon successful completion of service
