eNGINE is hiring a Pittsburgh, PA based Project Manager to support our customer’s PMO & Communications Teams. This role will focus on community outreach, translating complex technical concepts into clear, accessible language for various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will work closely with another Technical Project Manager to ensure public understanding of project impacts, especially regarding public safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and interpret technical information.
- Translate complex technical jargon into easy-to-understand language for non-technical audiences.
- Utilize graphic design tools to create visual aids, diagrams, and supporting materials.
- Manage document version control and ensure content remains clear, accurate, and up to date.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on new and existing documentation.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and adjust communication strategies accordingly.
- Represent the project team in meetings with elected officials to explain project impacts.
- Participate in public meetings, hearings, and open houses to present information and address questions.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience translating technical jargon to non-technical audiences with a focus on ease of consumption
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information.
- Knowledge of multimedia tools and/or video editing software to enhance outreach materials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other documentation tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and community stakeholders.
