Supervisory Responsibilities

- Work on design projects supporting the Engineering team’s efforts in new product development and sustaining engineering of existing product lines
- Design and build prototypes, test fixtures, and other assemblies as necessary
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong ability to use power tools and hand tools to build/modify production fixtures to support objectives
- Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills. Able to understand complex issues and provide appropriate, effective solutions
- Understanding of CAD fundamentals
- Must have the ability to effectively handle multiple tight timeline situations
- Flexible and a strong willingness to adapt and be an advocate for change
- Ability to work through multiple obstacles to complete daily tasks
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Actively enrolled in bachelor's or master's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Management.
- While performing the duties of this job in the Plant or Warehouse, the employee can be exposed to noise. The noise level is usually moderate. Must have reliable means of transportation.
- This is an in-office position requiring regular working hours at ECS headquarters.
- Frequently required to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods at a desk or work bench and working using a computer.
- Use a computer keyboard with mouse for long periods of time
- Occasionally life and/or move 25 pounds.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, climb ladders/steps, and sit.
- Use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear
- All above could occur in high or low temperatures involving wind and/or precipitation
- No travel is required. Travel opportunities may arise but are not guaranteed or required.
