Job Description
As a Geotechnical Field Technician with EES, you will provide construction verification of retaining walls as well as other mechanically stabilized earth structures. In this position, you will be responsible for communicating with general contractors, geotechnical engineers and retaining wall installers on-site to confirm the designed earth structures are being installed per the design plans. Other responsibilities include site testing, collecting soil samples, lab testing (sieve analysis, proctor, etc.), writing daily reports of site visits performed and communicating with office personnel.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Able to multi-task and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment, able to manage conflicting demands and time sensitive material, able to produce consistent, accurate work, organized and detail oriented.
