Department: Maintenance
Job Position: Maintenance Technician I
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Authority: All employees have the authority to stop operations/production for the following three reasons: 1) a quality defect, 2) an unsafe act, or 3) a health hazard.
Job Competencies (include, but are not limited to):
· Operate forklift/ overhead cranes
· High School diploma or equivalent work-related experience
· Be able to lift at least 40 lbs.
· Technical knowledge of related machinery/secondary equipment
· Good attention to detail
· Have all necessary tools to perform job (employee owned, or company-owned)
· Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, overhead cranes, etc.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Job Duties:
· Perform and document machine PM as scheduled
· Perform and document service work and maintenance work on all secondary (auxiliary) equipment
· Perform screw & barrel cleaning and document wear.
· Troubleshoot all machinery or utilities
Assist in performing plant and equipment electrical and plumbing maintenance requirements as needed
· Perform all general plant maintenance
· Assist Maintenance Technician II and Maintenance Supervisor as needed.
· Performs general cleaning and repair work.
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
· Maintain the highest quality work to continuously ensure customer satisfaction.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
