Job Description Summary : Join our team as a Drafting Specialist, where you'll create detailed technical drawings and plans using Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Advance Steel. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers, project managers, and fabricators to ensure the accuracy and quality of all drawings.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop Drawings : Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models for crane and structural engineering projects.
Collaborate : Work with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
Ensure Compliance : Make sure all drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines, including approval and fabrication drawings.
Review and Revise : Update drawings based on feedback from engineers and clients.
Maintain Records : Keep accurate records of all drawings and revisions.
Documentation : Assist in preparing project documentation and reports.
Technical Support : Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.
Qualifications :
Software Proficiency : Skilled in Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Revit, and Autodesk Advance Steel.
Education : Associate’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Experience : 2 years in a drafting role. Knowledge of structural engineering or fabrication industry preferred.
Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and fabrication processes.
