JOB DESCRIPTION :
At Engineered Systems, we want to foster the personal growth of each team member. We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual with experience in developing and managing the new equipment sales activity for our West Georgia Territory. This position is responsible for managing sales efforts with existing accounts as well as developing new accounts in the assigned territory. With much opportunity for significant advancement, the Sales Representative will utilize leadership, sales, customer service, and project management skills.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree in Sales or Business Management, or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of three years of field Sales experience.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and build valuable relationships
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to positively lead and work in a team environment
Organized and disciplined in executing job responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop and execute annual goals and objectives for your territory in concert with the VP of Sales.
Develop and execute annual business goals and objectives for your territory in concert with the VP of Sales.
Develop and maintain a scheduled routine for promoting the sale of all products and services offered by Engineered Systems.
Use customer and prospect contact tools and systems (CRM) and update relevant information held in this system.
Make regular calls on existing customers to keep the name of Engineered Systems in front of those people who are responsible for making decisions regarding products and services we provide. Contacts should include Maintenance, Engineering, Safety, Purchasing, and other areas of influence. This interface can be face to face or through phone or e-mail contact, as time permits.
Search out new opportunities through a program of targeting potential customers that have a need for the products and services Engineered Systems can provide.
Follow up on all vendor sales leads and report back to the VP of Sales on results.
Conduct field surveys to generate data required to develop quotations for equipment sales opportunities.
Support and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Support and enforce the use of functional organization structure.
Develop quotations for all sales opportunities except fabricated systems and maintenance opportunities.
Provide Engineering with sufficient information to develop quotations on fabricated systems to enable them to generate an accurate quote package.
Ensure that all quotations are based upon profit objectives established by management. Follow up on all quotations with customers to secure purchase orders.
Provide required information to the Purchasing Agent for Job set up and ordering of parts and equipment.
Coordinate all installations with Engineering and Project Manager.
Follow up with customer upon completion of each job to ensure that the project was completed to the customer’s satisfaction.
Review jobs that are not handled by Engineering to ensure that all costs have been applied to the job and authorize invoicing to the customer. Be responsible for invoicing all projects on a timely basis.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
Work with customers to identify their needs and develop solutions thar are competitive and mutually beneficial.
Work closely with all vendors to take advantage of available training, support, and product knowledge to further the sale of their products and services.
Attend trade shows, conventions, seminars, and read trade publications to enhance professional knowledge and to promote the company’s interests.
Maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance appropriate for the position and the normal situations in which the Salesman may be involved.
Support, build-up, assist, motivate, and train other associates within the company to help them perform their job functions as efficiently as possible.
Ensure that all company transactions are conducted in a professional, ethical and prudent manner.
