What are the responsibilities and job description for the TML Drafter position at Engineering & Inspection Services?
Are you proficient in AutoCAD and don’t like being tied to your desk all the time? We are actively seeking a highly motivated individual for a P&ID Field Walkdown & Drafter position. This 6 Month Assignment will be located onsite at a globally recognized O&G operator in Beaumont, TX. To succeed in this role you must be able to work closely and collaboratively with Design and Drafting Team.

About the Position:
- Responsible for walking down existing P&IDs or Isometrics and either verify existing drawings are correct or field redline existing drawings.
- Create CML/TML Inspection isometrics based on field walks or newly constructed project documents
- Digitally correct redline drawings or create new drawings in AutoCad.
- Unit field visits and climbing heights will be expected.
Required Skills/ Abilities:
- Must have authorization to work for any U.S. employer.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office for daily inter-office communication and documentation.
- Possess knowledge of industry standards including ASME and API, preferred.
Education and Experience:
- 2 to 5 years of experience working in a refinery or chemical plant and/or with a consulting firm representing similar industries preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Outside work often requires moderate physical exertion including climbing scaffolding, kneeling, bending, taking field measurements and walking projects
- Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes hardhat, safety glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel toed shoes, or other equipment as required.
