The Ideal Candidate
ERSC is looking for a qualified, talented engineering professional with a drive for professional growth and collaboration. The successful candidate will design pipelines, streets and highways, grading, and special design involving process systems, surveying and mapping, and other basic technical services.
Duties
Primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinating processing of projects through governmental agencies, including independent communication and relationship-building.
- Interacting with Project Managers, Principal Engineers, and other team members to perform complex design functions and perfect conceptual or final designs.
- Converting designs to working drawings, contract documents, and other items that precede the construction of civil engineering projects.
- Creating civil engineering construction drawings.
- Supervising other designers and drafting staff.
- Training designers in civil engineering design and evaluating training levels of staff designers.
- Developing techniques to standardize new and improved design systems and methods of representing said design and working drawings prepared by staff.
- Performs all other duties as assigned by the Managing Engineer.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5 years of advanced design and AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
- Some supervisory skills are needed.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and other job-related computer programs.
