The Ideal Candidate
ERSC is looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and energetic professional with an eye for design and a natural inclination for teamwork and collaboration. The Proposal Coordinator’s primary function is to assist ERSC’s Marketing Manager and team of professional staff to create and submit aesthetic and compelling proposals. Additional opportunities for professional growth abound as the position may also provide support for internal and external marketing communications efforts and other items as required.
Duties
Primary responsibilities include:
· Track and distribute opportunities released by existing and potential clients.
· Update and maintain business development software to track proposal efforts and leads.
· Review and analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) to establish submittal strategy and deliverables.
· Coordinate with the Marketing Manager, Project Managers, and professional Engineering staff to gather, copy edit, and prepare required information and materials.
· Using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, perform copywriting, graphic design, and layout design to create branded, accurate, polished, and professional proposal documents.
· Assist the Marketing and Project Managers in developing presentation material for use during client interviews.
· Assist the Marketing Manager with the creation of graphics, tables, and other content as requested.
· Assist the Marketing Manager with scheduling, organizing, and attending meetings, trade shows, career fairs, and other related events to represent ERSC.
· Assist Marketing Manager with digital marketing including company intranet, company website, and company social media platforms.
· Assist the Marketing Manager with the design and procurement of promotional materials.
· Assist the Marketing Manager with internal marketing efforts, including company events and internal communications.
· Performs other various tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager, Marketing Manager, or Managing Engineers.
Qualifications
· 2 - 5 Years’ experience is preferred. A/E/C experience is beneficial.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Creative Writing or similar field preferred. Industry experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
· Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign and Illustrator required.
· Graphic design skills to produce charts, tables, and graphics for proposal, marketing, and promotional materials
· Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
· Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks, and meet multiple deadlines.
· Must have an active, valid California driver’s license in good standing and ability to obtain vehicle insurance to ERSC’s required limits.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
